Anki & Definition Learning

The process begins with installing ur anki software on ur phone and on ur pc or other devices.

Once you’ve done that select a word that you need to understand better. This example is “ethics”

“Ethics : 2. the principles of morally right conduct accepted by a person or a group or considered appropriate to a specific field. In psychological research, for example, proper ethics requires that participants be treated fairly and without harm and that investigators report results and findings honestly. See code of ethicsprofessional ethicsresearch ethics—ethical adj.https://dictionary.apa.org/ethics

That is what you will read through a few times and then put down parts of the definition into ur anki software.

So the question-stimulus of your flashcard will be something like this.

Define Ethics. Front page.

The princ____ of morally r____ conduct accepted by a ______ or a ______ or considered appropriate to a specific field. In psychological research, proper ____s requires that participants be treated fairly and without h__m and that investigators report resul__ and find____ honestly. = back page.

That is one way to make ones anki flashcards. As you find yourself remembering all those words easily – then start erasing more and more bits, you may even go through editing several times over days/weeks/months.

Another is the reverse way.

Amanda, when I say to myself or others the following words, principals, morals, honest psychology and fairness, what branch of psychology are you saying or thinking about. = front page.

Ethics. Which fundamentally is about just being a decent human being to everyone. = back page.

Indeed many people discover other ways also, but they are my main two ways I can recall tonight.

Please enjoy.
