Duck for Cover, the Ducks are Invading!

Today I wandered out onto the front porch with my new to me, iphone 8 plus kindly donated by a beautifully altruistic family who are members on Pay It Forward Adelaide Facebook Group. Such a wonderful gift they have given me to help me do my thing! Anyways, about the ducks, well not quite… we not at that bit yet.

My beautiful and lovingly diligent wife Clare had just left to walk Buffy and Vinnie and I thought to myself, I’ll grab a few images of birds with my new iphone… because I had noticed a big raven through our front window and I thought, grab the camera and do a bit of bird watching.

I opened the front door in my usual quiet way and the little raven was already flying away, though still in view until it vanished behind a tree. I felt disappointed to miss out on imaging that Raven and was despondent for about a tenth of a second as I stepped forward further onto the porch and discovered the aforementioned Army of Ducks.

Now these two mighty ducks had no fear, no worries, no offense given, nor offense received or intended, they just walked calmly right on up to my porch and strolled around as I stood mostly still but carefully holding my camera in their general direction.

To anyone thirsty I will give the water of life all this very spring, come drink from our tap/bucket little ones…

My wife and I have under taken cyber security probes of the software that controls the donation process, seems quite safe, for even knowing of the transaction via email and receiving the money, I could not geolocate my own wife’s donation_place via a banking system. Seems pretty decent.
