The first time I proposed to Clare she noted we didn’t know each other well enough, for we had only been dating a short while and I said, “How about we get married in a year or two if we are still together?” And Clare replied “Let’s wait and see.”
The second time I proposed seems to have slipped my memory! Please tell us all Clare.
The third time I proposed i first spent a half a day building a vegetable garden from recycled components and set it all up lovely and sweet. Then the following morning I woke Clare up and invited her out to the now named Love Patch, where at last my love agreed to marry me. That day was 21/June/2009 and we married two years to the calendar day later.
