G’day Everyone, this is one of the ways I aim for wellness. I am so upset by how centrelink treats me and others I have to do something about it. I don’t let these feeling be repressed, nor do I express them impolitely with the rage that I feel. So this post is one example of how to utilise sadness and anger to improve ones expression of right to life.

Extracts from the Constitution of Australia.

Australian’s have the right to freedom of communication on political matters. Page 8 of 44.“powers of parliament…. To make laws for the peace, order, and good government of the “commonwealth with respect to :
(xxiiiA)13 the provision of maternity allowances, widows’ pensions, child endowment, unemployment, pharmaceutical, sickness and hospital benefits, medical and dental services (but not so as to authorize any form of civil conscription), benefits to students and family allowances; “Page 23 of 44.

POINT : provision for unemployment benefits is made under the constitution of Australia. Therefore under Australian law, reception of unemployment benefit is a citizens right. The unemployment benefit is not a privilege that needs maintenance under particular conditions, but is a fundamental expression of right to life.

So when Centrelink demands information and threatens to cease unemployment benefits, not only does Centrelink commit an act contrary to the word and spirit of the Constitution of Australia, but such demands and threats are contrary to the basic right to life for the unemployed so threatened.

Given that Australia is a signatory to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, as declared by the United Nations, C/L’s threatening to cease unemployment benefits to citizens who are in need of such benefits, is a breach of said Human Rights. Thus the Australian Government through Centrelink is repeatedly in breach of our citizens Human Rights – and therefore should cease and desist such threatening activities.
Be nice if they said sorry too, but look what our indigenous cousins had to go through to get that to happen.

And after the sorry, what actually changed for our indigenous cousins? Did they get land back? Did they get the 200 years of back pay rent owed? Did their families member suddenly spring back to life? Did the cities on their lands suddenly vanish and sprout back into natural bush lands?

Nope, was just a word “sorry” that has five characters, but no spirit at all.
