Sometimes, players don’t want to hear athletic truth, because they don’t want their illusions destroyed.

A little training is better than none or too much.

I’m comfortable translating other people’s dissembling speech.

Body image is created within the mind, thus be mindful of your health.

If the athlete knows why, they’ll consider the how and what.

The athlete wants two things : improvement and victory. For those reasons they train and compete.

An athlete should be content with being alone, the view from the summit has no companions.

Hoping to alter your reality is much less than doing something about it right now.

Influencing Your Athleticism.

A smile helps arousal optimisation.

Be more concerned with your athleticism than others, for you control only yourself.

I am courageous, but I still fear the tin and detest the out line.

If you want things to change, you are the thing to change first of all.

Training creates power from knowledge, but without application knowledge is just wind.

Persist through failure and success will grow.

Players are not interested in athletes, nor are players interested in coaches. They are interested in free tips about how to improve their squash easily and quickly.

Of course your training partner is imperfect. If they weren’t, they wouldn’t need to train!

When fate hands you broken squash balls, cut them up for target practice.
