Industrious Athleticism.

Do not look for approval from others, seek it within yourself.

One athlete won first prize, another won the second prize, they are both champions.

When you really want peak performance, want it enough to work optimally and rest appropriately.

Health is not about feeding our ego, but is about feeding our body nutritiously.

Train more intelligently. The championship is won by the athlete whose training is with their head.

If you want to be a high performance athlete, think of consuming highly nutritious calories and expending them on optimal training.

The obese should resolve to stop gifting themselves with tasty treats and begin the infinitely more healthy task of nutritious eating.

An athlete who is unable to motivate themself is content with mediocrity.

No athlete becomes great unless they contribute to others greatness.

To coach people – understand them.

If your shot was not up forget it. If your shot was out forget it. If your shot goes in prepare for the next shot.

Get rid of the desire to win.

When I let go of what I was, I become what I am.

Soft and tight wins over hard and loose.

Words are nothing, movement is everything.

Living only for the accolades of victory means you are trapped.

There is nothing softer and more flexible than air, use it.

Shape your thoughts, they become your words. Shape your words, they become your actions. Shape your actions, they become your habits. Shape your habits, they become your character. Shape your character, it becomes your destiny.
