The Envious Athlete.

Their squash is better than your squash because they’re playing right now and you’re just watching.

Envying the other players skills, fitness or opportunity should inspire you towards optimal training.

Envying the opponents kill shots should inspire one to practice our own kill shots.

Envy is the symbol of a loser who probably won’t work towards becoming a success.

The truest mark of being born with great qualities is expressed in optimal training.

The envious athlete grows leaner with each success of the opposition.

Envy implies self recognition of ones inferiority at something, thus should lead towards superior training.

Happiness and envy can be barriers to improvement. Too happy with a component of ones athleticism leads towards stagnation or deterioration. Too envious about anothers athletic component leads towards loss of agency.

The envious athlete dies not once, but every time their opponents win applause.

Athletes are not disturbed by competition, but by their viewpoint about the competition.

A gym, sports ground, or recreation centre is not adorned by trophies or pennants, but by the virtue of those whom move humanely within it.

They who exercise wisely, exercise optimally.

To be uneducated is to experience misfortune. To begin ones education is to make the attempt. To be accepting of oneself and others shows that ones education is Complete.

Sayings of Squash : Arabian Knights.

Train to be the player you want to be.

There are no short rallies within any worthwhile victory.

You cannot cross court until you have courage to loose sight of the ball.

The greatest danger for most players is not that we aim too high and hit out, but that we aim too low and hit the tin.

Always bear in mind that your own determination to train and play well is more important than any other component.

It does not matter how slowly you move as long as you reach the ball before the second bounce.

You are not the player in the pool, you are the entire pool in one player.

You are not just drop shots and winners, you are a complete player.

Training alone is better than training badly.

Do not feel excluded, squash is inclusive.
